William "Bill" Ruh
Chief Digital Officer, GE and CEO, GE Digital

Bill is the chief executive officer for GE Digital as well as the senior vice president and chief digital officer (CDO) for GE. Bill is responsible for global IT as well as creating GE’s Digital Thread, a next-generation system for streamlining design, manufacturing, and support processes. He joined GE in 2011 to establish its Industrial Internet strategy and to lead the convergence of the physical and digital worlds within GE globally. Previously, Bill was vice president at Cisco, where he held global responsibility for developing advanced services and solutions. A 30-year veteran of the software and Internet industries, he has held executive management positions at Software AG, Inc., The Advisory Board, The MITRE Corporation, and Concept 5 Technologies. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from California State University, Fullerton.

Harel Kodesh
Vice President, Predix, and Chief Technology Officer, GE Digital

Harel joined GE from Nurego, where he served as chief executive officer and founder. Prior to starting Nurego in 2013, Harel served as executive vice president of EMC Corp.’s Cloud business and chief executive officer of Mozy, an EMC subsidiary. He also served as chief product officer of Amdocs from 2003 to 2008. He holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.

Kate Johnson
Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, GE Digital

Kate has oversight for sales and marketing development across GE Digital and leads GE’s efforts to commercialize its emerging portfolio of Industrial Internet services and software capabilities. She joined GE from the technology industry, where most recently she was a senior vice president in charge of the North American Technology and Government Consulting business at Oracle Corporation. Kate earned an MBA from The Wharton School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.

Denzil Samuels
Global Head of Channels, Alliances, Business Development, and Ventures, GE Digital

Denzil Samuels is responsible for establishing and strengthening relationships with partners, while building strategic channel sales programs. Dr. Samuels joined GE from Salesforce, where he served as senior vice president, Worldwide Partners & Solutions, with responsibility for the recruitment, investment, and business development of partners to drive growth. Previously he held senior leadership roles at Siemens Enterprise, Northrop Grumman, Avaya, and Qwest Cyber Solutions. He studied electronic engineering at London’s Southall College of Technology, and he holds an honorary doctorate in management from Colorado Technical University.

Khozema Shipchandler
Vice President and CFO, GE Digital

Khozema is vice president and CFO, GE Digital, responsible for providing the financial leadership required to transform GE into a top 10 software company by 2020. Since joining GE in 1996, he has served on the Corporate Audit Staff and held finance leadership positions in the Global Growth Organization – MENAT and Aviation. Khozema graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees in biology and English, with a minor in Economics, from Indiana University.

Brad Surak
Chief Operating Officer, GE Digital

Brad Surak leads the global integration effort for the GE Digital organization, aligning our products, people, processes, and systems through cross-functional work streams. He joined GE in 2012 and served as the general manager of the Industrial Internet Applications group responsible for partnering with the GE Businesses to develop Predix-based analytic applications. Brad's previous experience in the technology industry includes serving as chief operating officer of SAP's Business Analytics product group and leader of SAP's Mobile Analytics software product line. Brad holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Purdue University.

Jim Fowler
Chief Information Officer, GE

As GE's chief information officer, Jim Fowler is driving GE's global information technology (IT) strategy, services, and operations, and aggressively delivering innovative and transformational solutions for GE, our customers, and employees. Jim brings 15 years experience as an IT leader with GE Capital, Aviation, Intelligent Platforms, Power Generation Services, and Power & Water. Prior to GE, he served in IT roles with NCR and Accenture. Jim holds a bachelor of science degree in management information systems and marketing from Miami University and an MBA from Xavier University.
